How to Make Armor in Minecraft

Armor will give your character extra protection by adding a second health bar that can have a max of 10 armor points. It can be made from a variety of material, including: Leather, Iron, Gold, and Diamonds.

A full armor set contains a helmet, chestplate, leggings, and boots. Each piece will reduce your damage by 8%, so you can reach a maximum of 80% damage reduction.

Of course, not all armor is created equal. Here’s a breakdown of how many points each type of armor will give you:

Leather Armor will give you a max of 3.5 armor points.
Gold Armor will give you a max of 5.5 armor points.
Iron Armor will give you a max of 7.5 armor points
Diamond will give you a max of 10 armor points

How to Make a Helmet

Ingredients: Leather,Gold Ingots , Iron Ingots, or Diamond Gems (5)

Leather Cap will give 0.5 armor points.
Gold Helmet will give 1 armor point.
Iron Helmet will give 1 armor point.
Diamond Helm gives 1.5 armor points.

How to Make a Chestplate

Ingredients: Leather,Gold Ingots , Iron Ingots, or Diamond Gems (8)

Leather Tunic will give 1.5 armor points.
Gold Chestplate will give 2.5 armor point.
Iron Chestplate will give 3 armor point.
Diamond Chestplate gives 4 armor points.

How To Make Boots

Ingredients: Leather,Gold Ingots , Iron Ingots, or Diamond Gems (4)

Leather Boots will give 0.5 armor points.
Gold Boots will give 0.5 armor point.
Iron Boots will give 1 armor point.
Diamond Boots gives 1.5 armor points.

How to Make Leggings

Ingredients: Leather,Gold Ingots , Iron Ingots, or Diamond Gems (7)

Leather Boots will give 1 armor points.
Gold Boots will give 1.5 armor point.
Iron Boots will give 2.5 armor point.
Diamond Boots gives 3 armor points.

It’s also possible to make Chainmail from Fire Blocks, but it requires hacks. Chainmail is slightly more durable than Gold.

How to Make a Map

A map can be used see the places you’ve discovered in the game.

You must hold the map in your hands while traveling for the places to be revealed and saved. When the item is selected in your inventory later, the world will be displayed on a piece of paper held in front of you.
